AEGIS SecureConnect (Cisco Secure Services Client) for Windows XP, Windows 2000

 
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • Double-click the downloaded file and follow installation instructions
  • Install license key (contained in email from Meetinghouse) to activate.
    Note:
  • Before installing the product, uninstall any previous versions present on the machine using the Add/Remove Programs dialog.
 

AEGIS Client for Windows XP, Windows 2000

 
  • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with a link to the product file
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • Double-click the downloaded file and follow installation instructions
  • Once installed, you will be able to:
    a) Evaluate the product for 30 days.
    b) Purchase a license directly from the AEGIS Client.
    Note:
  • Before installing the product, uninstall any previous versions present on the machine using the Add/Remove Programs dialog.

 

AEGIS Client for Windows 98, ME and NT

 
  • IMPORTANT: If upgrading from version 2.1.0, then BEFORE removing it, make sure that you know the current License Key (from original download email). If you have lost or misplace it, you can download a free utility from the Meetinghouse web site ( http://www.mtghouse.com/files/AegisKey.exe) that will retrieve, display and store the current License Key. Your existing key will be needed to license the upgrade version at no cost.
  • Uninstall the previous version using the Add/Remove Programs dialog.
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • Double-click the downloaded file and follow installation instructions.
  • Activate the upgrade by selecting Help - Register on the AEGIS product console.

  New Installation:
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • Double-click the downloaded file and follow installation instructions

  • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with a link to the product file
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.

  • Once installed, you will be able to:
    a) Evaluate the product for 15 days

AEGIS Client for PPC 2002 Mobile 2003

 
  • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with the following:
    a. a link to the product file which contains the client and documentation
    b. a 'Temporary Evaluation License' key which will allow the client to run for 30 days.
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • Double-click the downloaded file and follow installation instructions.
  • The product must be unlocked before it is run. During product installation, a popup window will appear which asks for the License ID and License Key. To unlock the product, leave the "License ID" field undisturbed. For product evaluation, enter the 'Temporary License Key' provided in the download email from Meetinghouse. Please note that this same popup can be made to appear on the PC later by running Start->Programs->Meetinghouse->Aegis PPC->Setup AEGIS PPC Client.
  • Once installed, you will be able to:
    a) Evaluate the product for 30 days
    b) Purchase a license directly from the online store
    Note:
  • Before installing the product, uninstall any previous versions present on the machine using the Add/Remove Programs dialog.
  • The software requires ActiveSync 3.0 or greater.
  • The License ID field will be blank on a first-time installation and thereafter will show a Hardware ID. Both cases are correct behavior and this field should not be modified. If this field is modified the registration or the connection to the device may fail and you will have to restart the process.
  • Be sure that the date is set correctly on your device. If the date is wrong, the key will not activate the product.

AEGIS Client for CE.NET 4.1 / 4.2

 
  • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with the following:
    a. a link to the product file which contains the client and documentation
    b. a 'Temporary Evaluation License' key which will allow the client to run for 30 days.
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • Double-click the downloaded file and follow installation instructions.
  • The product must be unlocked before it is run. During product installation, a popup window will appear which asks for the License ID and License Key. To unlock the product, leave the "License ID" field undisturbed. For product evaluation, enter the 'Temporary License Key' provided in the download email from Meetinghouse.   • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with the following:
    a. a link to the product file which contains the client and documentation
    b. a 'Temporary Evaluation License' key which will allow the client to run for 30 days.
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • When performing the http download from the Meetinghouse web site, save the file to a directory on your hard drive. When the download has completed, extract the files as follows: tar -xzvf {file}
  • This will extract several files into the current directory. One is the AEGIS Client distribution (e.g., AEGISClient-linux-1.2.2-1.i386.rpm.bin). The others are PDF document files and the modified Orinoco_cs driver that is required to use Orinoco- and Intersil Prism 2-based wireless cards. Refer to the README file for a description of the Orinoco_cs driver.
  • This AEGIS Client is distributed as a ".bin" file (e.g., AEGISClient-linux-1.2.2-1.i386.rpm.bin). Once the files have been extracted from the download file, execute the ".bin" file as follows:
  • sh AEGISClient-linux-1.2.2-1.i386.rpm.bin
  • Once the license is accepted, an RPM file will be generated (e.g., AEGISClient-linux-1.2.2-1.i386.rpm). The software can then be installed using the standard Linux command 'rpm' as follows: rpm -i AEGISClient-linux-1.2.2-1.i386.rpm
  • Once installed, you will be able to:
    a) Evaluate the product for 30 days
    b) Activate the product if previously purchased
  • The product must be unlocked before it is run. If the license dialog is not displayed at start-up, it can be displayed by selecting 'register' from the help menu. To unlock the Client, input the word "trial" in the 'Subject' box. Input the 'Temporary License Key' provided in the download email from Meetinghouse into the 'Key' box.
    Note:
  • You must have super-user privileges to perform the installation.
  • Requires Linux, Redhat 8.0 or Redhat 9.0.
  • This AEGIS Client is distributed as a zipped tar (tgz) file (e.g., AEGISClient-linux-1.2.2-1.i386.tgz).

AEGIS Client for MAC OS Xv 10.2

 
  • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with the following:
    a. a link to the product file which contains the client and documentation
    b. a 'Temporary Evaluation License' key which will allow the client to run for 30 days.
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • When downloading the product, the Download Manager in the Internet Explorer will automatically download the file and unpack it on the Desktop.
  • If for some reason the file is not unpacked automatically, open a terminal window in the folder where the file was downloaded and type the command 'tar xvzf {file}' to unpack the file.
  • Double click the product file on the Desktop or in the Finder and follow instructions on the screen.
  • Once installed, you will be able to:
    a) Evaluate the product for 30 days
    b) Activate the product if previously purchased
  • The product must be unlocked before it is run. If the license dialog is not displayed at start-up, it can be displayed by selecting 'register' from the help menu. To unlock the Client, input input the word "trial" in the 'Subject' box. Input the 'Temporary License Key' provided in the download email from Meetinghouse into the 'Key' box.

AEGIS Client for Solaris

 
  • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with the following:
    a. a link to the product file which contains the client and documentation
    b. a 'Temporary Evaluation License' key which will allow the client to run for 30 days.
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • When performing the http download from the Meetinghouse web site, save the file to a directory on your hard drive.
  • When the download has completed, extract the files as follows: grip -dc [file_name] | tar xvf - This will extract several files into the current directory; the product distribution (e.g.: AEGISClient_1.2.1.tar.sh) and PDF documents.
  • The product is distributed as a ".sh" file (e.g.: AEGISClient_1.2.1.tar.sh).
  • Once the files have been extracted from the download file, execute the ".sh" file as follows: sh AEGISClient_1.2.1.tar.sh
  • Once the 'End-User License Agreement' is accepted, the product will be extracted into a subdirectory.
  • This directory will be named e.g.: AEGISClient_1.2.1.
  • The software can then be installed by changing into this directory and then executing the script "install.sh" as follows: cd AEGISClient_1.2.1 sh install.sh
  • Once installed, you will be able to:
    a) Evaluate the product for 30 days
    b) Activate the product if previously purchased
  • The product must be unlocked before it is run. If the license dialog is not displayed at start-up, it can be displayed by selecting 'register' from the help menu. To unlock the Client, input the word "trial" in the 'Subject' box. Input the 'Temporary License Key' provided in the download email from Meetinghouse into the 'Key' box.

AEGIS Client for Palm Tungsten C

 

  • If you have not already downloaded the Palm client, submit a download request for the Palm client from the Free Trial Download Request Form on our site.
  • You will receive an email from Meetinghouse containing links to two files:
    a. the product file which contains the client and documentation
    b. a 'Temporary Evaluation License' file which will allow the client to run for 30 days. This temporary license file is only needed if you have not purchased the client, and wish to try it without cost.
  • Download the product file and place it in a known directory on your PC.
  • Download the 'Temporary Evaluation License' file and place it in the same directory, if you are interested in a no-cost evaluation.
  • MSI Package Only: Double-click the .msi file and follow installation instructions. When Palm Quick Install opens click "OK" to add the selected files. (verify your Palm TC is connected to your PC). Proceed to Step 8.
  • Select File - Add Files and browse to the directory in which you saved the product file.
  • Click on the file. This will select all the .prc files that are compressed within the zip.
  • Click on the downloaded .pdb file if needed. Then click "Open".
  • Press the 'Hotsync' bottom on the device.
  • Your trial version product is functional.
    Note:
  • If you purchase and register the client you will download a permanent license to replace this one.
  • ReadMe contains succinct configuration instructions specific to the Palm client, and can be opened using most word processors.
  • The AEGIS Client User Manual contains information concerning operation of the Palm client.

AEGIS Client for Zaurus SL-6000

 
  • Request the product from the Download page of the Meetinghouse online Store.
  • Note that you will receive an email from Meetinghouse with the following:
    a. a link to the product file which contains the client and documentation
    b. a 'Temporary Evaluation License' key which will allow the client to run for 30 days.
  • Download and save the product file to a known directory.
  • When performing the http download from the Meetinghouse web site, save the file to a directory on your hard drive. When the download has completed, Unzip the file in the current directory.
  • This will unzip several files into the current directory. One is the AEGIS Client distribution (e.g., aegisclient_1.1.0.1_arm.ipk). The others are PDF document files and the README file.
  • Move the application .ipk file to:home/Zaurus/Documents/Install-Files/.
  • From the Settings menu, select Add/Remove Software.
  • Select Install packages.
  • On the Package Installer screen, select the aegisclient application.
  • On the Install Storage popup, select Internal Flash.Zaurus will perform the installation.
  • To finish, verify closing the install application as instructed.
  • Close the Package Installer and the Add/Remove Software screens.Zaurus will update the PDA accordingly and the AEGIS application icon will appear in the Zaurus’ Applications list.
  • Start the Client from the main application screen, select the AEGIS application.
  • Once installed, you will be able to:
    a) Evaluate the product for 30 days
    b) Activate the product if previously purchased
  • The product must be unlocked before it is run. If the license dialog is not displayed at start-up, it can be displayed by selecting 'register' from the help menu. To unlock the Client, Input the 'Temporary License Key' provided in the download email from Meetinghouse into the 'License Key' box.
    Note:
