User Interface Observations with Workarounds
- Configuring certificate’s user name
When using the Microsoft Certificate Server, certificates are issued with 2 common names. One name is a group name and the other is the user name. The client displays the group name in the user name field. (Ref #2294)
Workaround:
Manually change the user name field in the authentication profile to match the certificate.
- Authentication Profile Name length
The length of the name of an authentication profile as listed in the Profile Information tab of the Network Profile screen is truncated to 15 characters. However in the Authentication Profile screen itself the corresponding name is listed with at least 30 characters as visible. (Ref #2361)
Workaround:
When naming an authentication profile, limit the uniqueness of the name to the first 15 characters and the overall length to 30 characters.

General Usage Observations with Workarounds
- System ID
Problem: The System ID changes when booting from a local drive or a network drive. (Ref #990)
Workaround:
Boot only from the same local hard drive for all users.
- Using Norton Ghost - Corporate edition
With the client installed, Norton Ghost Corporate edition does not reboot the PC to perform the ghost operation. (Ref #2014)
Workaround:
Uninstall the client first.
