Meetinghouse Announces AEGIS Client for UNIX Platforms

WLAN Security Provided for Linux and Solaris Clients

Portsmouth, NH - September 10, 2003 - Meetinghouse, Inc., a leading developer of standards-based network authentication software for wired and wireless local-area networks, announces AEGIS Client for Linux and Solaris. AEGIS Client interoperates with standards-compliant solutions from Meetinghouse and other providers to deliver 802.1X wired and wireless LAN security. By supporting Unix-based client platforms along with the Windows family of operating systems, plus Mac OS X, Palm Tungsten C and other new and legacy platforms, Meetinghouse meets the enterprise's need for flexibility in its WLAN implementations.

  • Supports Solaris 8 for SPARC
  • Offers wired LAN support only
