Meetinghouse Announces Latest Release of 802.1X Authentication API for Networking Vendors

Standards-based 802.1X authentication technology platform for wired & Wi-Fi enterprise networks adds support for Cisco Compatible Extensions and expanded EAP methods

Portsmouth, NH - August 23, 2005 - Meetinghouse, a leading developer of standards-based secure network access software for wired and wireless LANs, announced today general availability of it’s AEGIS Authentication SDK version 4. The new AEGIS Authentication SDK release is part of a family of embedded OEM/ODM toolkit products designed for network vendors. The Meetinghouse AEGIS Authentication SDK is a pivotal building block for wired and wireless endpoint security solutions from the leading 802.11 chip manufacturers, network equipment vendors, network service providers and wireless device manufacturers.

Meetinghouse’s latest version of its AEGIS Authentication SDK is the fourth generation of endpoint security products for the vendor marketplace. The Meetinghouse AEGIS Authentication SDK has an established footprint of over 200 million computer networking devices worldwide, making it one of the most widely disseminated network admission management software solutions today.
