Meetinghouse And Partners Demonstrate Endpoint Integrity Solution At Interop Las Vegas

Mandalay Bay Convention Center Booth #1115 (Las Vegas, NV), May 2, 2006: Meetinghouse, a worldwide leader in endpoint security today announced its support for the new specification, released on May 1st, from the Trusted Computing Group’s (TCG) Trusted Network Connect (TNC). Meetinghouse’s AEGIS SecureConnect (ASC) client solution fully supports this new specification. The TNC architecture provides a standards-based secure network access solution. Meetinghouse will demonstrate its AEGIS SecureConnect’s support for TNC with two leading security technology vendors, Wave Systems (WAVX - NASDAQ) and Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP-NASDAQ) at Interop Las Vegas 2006.

Wave Systems, a leader in developing Trusted Computing applications, and Meetinghouse will demonstrate the interoperability of Wave’s Embassy Trust Suite with AEGIS SecureConnect in the TCG Booth #2140 in the exhibition hall. Wave Systems' Embassy Trust Suite is a core set of TCG-compliant applications and infrastructure services that increase the security of PCs and networks in an intuitive manner. These demonstrations display the three vendors’ commitment to standards-based solutions for secure network access and management.

AEGIS SecureConnect with support for TNC standards will be available for first customer ship at the end of the third quarter, 2006.

Meetinghouse/Wave Systems Interoperability Demonstration

At Interop Las Vegas 2006, Wave Systems and Meetinghouse Data Communications will demonstrate network endpoint security and access control capabilities implementing the Trusted Network Connect (TNC) architecture. The demonstration of secure network access uses Wave’s Embassy® Endpoint Enforcer and Meetinghouse’s AEGIS SecureConnect for a PC equipped with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security chip. The Embassy Endpoint Enforcer provides the hardware-secured statistics that are used by Meetinghouse’s ASC to ensure the PC is authorized and in a proper state to access a network. "We’re collaborating with Meetinghouse to demonstrate the interoperability of the TNC implementations, and the importance of continually developing new policies and standards," noted Brian Berger, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Wave Systems.

TNC is an open and non-proprietary security architecture from the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) to improve the security through device integrity (i.e., enforcing the device’s compliance with established security policies), before a network connection is established. Developed by TCG’s TNC subgroup, with has more than 60 networking and technology industry companies, the TNC has created open specifications to enable a market for solutions that support interoperability between vendors.

Wave’s and Meetinghouse’s products, based on the TNC specifications aim to reduce security problems, lower support costs and reduce downtime caused by poorly configured or infected client systems. In addition, by aligning their products with the TNC standard, Meetinghouse and Wave are providing interoperable, scalable network security solutions that leverage the existing infrastructure.

Meetinghouse and Check Point Interoperability Demonstration

Meetinghouse will also demonstrate the interoperability of AEGIS SecureConnect with Check Point’s Integrity solution in a TNC architecture. Meetinghouse’s ASC is a complimentary product to Check Point’s endpoint security software. The combination of the two products means an administrator can check not only the credentials of a user attempting network access, but also verify they are accessing the network from a secure endpoint which is free from worms, trojan horses, spyware, viruses and other malicious software.

Meetinghouse Supports Lowering Network Security Costs Through Standards-based Solutions
