Meetinghouse Announces AEGIS Device Manager Appliance

Trusted Computer Group’s (TCG) TNC - Server Solution for Endpoint Integrity, Provisioning & Management

Mandalay Bay Convention Center Booth #1115 (Las Vegas, NV), May 2, 2006: Meetinghouse, a worldwide leader in endpoint security, announced today that it will be releasing the AEGIS Device Manager appliance and working with industry partners to validate, and test their endpoint security applications in an end-to-end TCG TNC endpoint integrity environment.

The AEGIS Device Manager appliance hardware platform delivers standards-based endpoint policy management for 802.1X enabled enterprise networks. Built on a TNC architecture and Radius/AAA foundation, Meetinghouse’s AEGIS Device Manager appliance provides IT organizations a reliable platform to deploy, configure, and manage 802.1X ports. Combined with endpoint devices using AEGIS SecureConnect endpoint software or other standards compliant supplicants, the AEGIS Device Manager provides a critical policy decision point determining which users and devices may have access to a protected network.

Meetinghouse will be demonstrating its complete end-to-end TNC solution at its booth (#1115) at Interop Las Vegas 2006. Our demonstration uses our 802.1X supplicant for TNC—AEGIS SecureConnect—and the new AEGIS Device Manager appliance in conjunction with a firewall/anti-virus checking application from Check Point Software Technologies.

The AEGIS Device Manager appliance will be available for phase 1 integration testing by partners beginning the 3rd quarter of 2006. Phase 1 is intended to support acceleration of TNC solutions development by giving early access to developers and enterprise managers.
