Meetinghouse Hires John Vollbrecht, Veteran IETF / IEEE Strategist of Network Endpoint Security

Portsmouth, NH - February 8, 2005 - Meetinghouse, a leading developer of standards-based network authentication software for wired and wireless local-area networks today announced the hiring of John Vollbrecht, a founder of Interlink Networks and world-renowned designer, developer, and implementer of RADIUS and network authentication technologies. Mr. Vollbrecht will be a principal technical consultant of Meetinghouse 802.1X- and RADIUS-based solutions that support the emerging area of managed network endpoint integrity.

Prior to founding Interlink Networks, Mr. Vollbrecht was with Merit Network, Inc. since 1988. He was the principal architect of the Merit AAA Server since its initial development. In addition, Mr. Vollbrecht was Director of the Merit AAA Server Consortium, which developed and enhanced the Merit AAA Server. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Mr. Vollbrecht holds a B.E.E. degree from Cornell University, a B.S.E.E. from Case Western Reserve University and an M.A. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. He has over 30 years of experience in computer networking.
